WHAT IS MY TRAVEL JOY?
My Travel Joy is built on the passion to travel amongst 3 friends. Over the years, we've traversed the world, going to both exotic & off the beaten locations. Through MTJ we hope to spread this passion for travelling to our fans.
My Travel Joy provides end-to-end traveling services that takes into account a client's likes / dislikes personality and convenience; all this without leaving a hole in his wallet.

WHAT ARE THE PRODUCT OFFERINGS OF MY TRAVEL JOY?
We are constantly working towards developing our service portfolio. At present, our travel solutions range from the Basics (booking of flights, hotels, cars, activities etc.) to the Extravaganza (planning entire vacation and handling logistics).
HOW DO I PAY MY TRAVEL JOY?
You can pay us either in Cash or depositing in our designated Bank Account. However, we are working towards finding out new solutions for the payment options and will keep on upgrading our service portfolio to meet the customer need.
WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY MY TRAVEL JOY FOR TRAVEL SERVICES PROVIDED?
Please note that we try to provide the most flexible price plan for our clients, as much as possible.
- For air tickets, you have to pay the full amount before receiving the air ticket.
- For hotels, we provide you with the option of paying upfront or paying at the hotel during check-out. Please note that the choice of hotel payment will depend on the hotel you choose, as the policies vary from hotel to hotel. Our travel consultants will present you with the options available, according to your need, for you to decide.
- For car rentals, the payment policy is flexible, depending on the car you choose and your destination.
- For all other activity bookings, payments need to be made upfront.
CAN I RESERVE A PARTICULAR SEAT?
Yes, in most instances, you can reserve a particular seat, as long as it is available, if the airline has the option of online check-in and seat reservation.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET EARLY/LATE CHECK-IN/OUT?
Most hotels have Check-In at 2 PM and Check-Out at 12 PM. Though there are some hotels that may allow an early Check-In or late Check-Out, it depends on the availability of the rooms that the hotel might have at its disposal at that time. Further, there are also chances that a hotel may charge you for one day extra in the case of an early Check-In or late Check-Out. Should you have any such requirement do let us know which hotel you have booked or are interested in booking, and we will find out the timings for you as well as any other information that you may require.
HOW CAN I CANCEL MY FLIGHT TICKETS?
Flight cancellations will follow the standard policy by the specific airlines. Please note that cancellation charges will apply according to the cancellation policy of My Travel Joy. Please refer to individual travel packs for detail information. For further information, please contact our Travel Consultant.
HOW CAN I CHANGE THE DATE OF MY FLIGHT BOOKING?
Date Change may be permissible on your booking on payment of Airline Date Change Fee, My Travel Joy Service Charges plus any fare difference that may exist between your original fare and the fare of the flight that you want to change to. Please note that date change may not be permitted on certain tickets. If you want to change your flight to a flight that is operated by another airline, you will need to cancel your existing booking and make a fresh booking. Please refer to individual travel packs for detail information.
WHAT ARE CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR HOTEL BOOKINGS?
We understand plans may change due to unforeseeable circumstances and that's why we intend to provide you with the most flexible cancellation policy possible. Please note Hotel cancellations will follow the standard hotel cancellation policies, apart from the cancellation charges applicable as per My Travel Joy cancellation policy.
ARE YOUR PACKAGES CHILDREN FRIENDLY?
My Travel Joy designs all kinds of packages to meet your needs. If there is such a requirement, please let us know beforehand and we will definitely design your package so that you, your child and your family can all enjoy the holiday.
DOES MY TRAVEL JOY PROVIDE VISA ASSISTANCE?
We are only providing foreign hotel bookings, air tickets and different activities booking (museum tour, park tour etc.). However, we are working towards developing our service portfolio. At present, although we are unable to process your Visa for you, we will help you with all necessary information to apply for the visa yourself and provide any other help necessary.
DO I NEED A TRANSIT VISA?
Please note that Transit visa rules are different for each and every country. So, according to your destination, please ask our Travel Consultant for more detail information.
WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED FOR VISA APPLICATION?
Please note that the Visa application process is different for each and every country. With our expert Travel Consultant Team, we will assist you finding the right information required for your Visa application. However, please note that granting Visa is at the sole discretion of the concerned embassy and they retain the right to deny visa applications.
WHEN DO I NEED TO APPLY FOR VISA?
Please note that visa processing times are different for each and every country. We suggest you apply for visa as early as you can, at least keep a standard one month time between Visa application and journey date to be on the safe side. However, for some countries it may require either more or less processing time.
I LIVE OUTSIDE BANGLADESH. CAN I AVAIL THE SERVICES OF MY TRAVEL JOY?
We thank you for your interest in our service. We can provide travel solutions for all over the world, with or without Bangladesh in the itinerary. However, we can only accept payments in Bangladeshi local currency at the moment.
WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO GO THROUGH AIRPORT SECURITY?
To proceed through airport security to the departure gate, you must present two documents:
- A valid passport. The ID must show your name, date of birth, gender, expiration date and a tamper-resistant feature.
- An airline-issued boarding pass for the current date. Boarding passes are issued at the airline's ticket counter at the airport or online from the airline's Web site.
I AM TRAVELLING WITH AN INFANT. IS THERE ANYTHING SPECIAL I NEED TO KNOW?
Babies between the ages of 0 to 2 years are considered to be an infant. Infants are not allocated separate seats in the flights. If you are travelling with an infant, please be sure to let us know beforehand to make the necessary arrangements.
